Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and English with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English from a recognized board.
OR candidates who have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with minimum 50% marks and 50% marks in English are eligible.
OR candidates who have completed a 2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English can also apply.

Salary/ Stipend

- 4th Year: ₹40,000 per month (In-hand approx ₹28,000)
- Seva Nidhi Package: Around ₹10.04 lakh after completion of 4 years (excluding interest).

Agniveervayu Sports Recruitment 2026 - SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process for Agniveervayu outstanding sportsmen recruitment 2026 will be conducted in several stages as mentioned below:
1. Verification of Eligibility
Candidates must bring all required original documents such as educational certificates, sports certificates, Aadhaar card, passport size photographs, character certificate and other required documents.
Documents will be verified before the Physical Fitness Test to confirm the candidate’s eligibility.
Candidates who do not meet the educational or eligibility criteria will be rejected during the initial verification stage.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates must qualify the Physical Fitness Test which includes:
1.6 Km Run to be completed within 7 minutes
10 Push-ups within 1 minute
10 Sit-ups within 1 minute
20 Squats within 1 minute
Only candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Test will be eligible for the next stage.
3. Sports Skill Trials
Only candidates who qualify the PFT will be called for Sports Skill Trials.
The trials will be conducted for the specific sports discipline applied by the candidate.
These trials will be organized at venues decided by the Air Force Sports Control Board (AFSCB) in Delhi-NCR.
4. Medical Examination
Candidates recommended after sports trials will undergo a detailed medical examination conducted by the Indian Air Force medical team.
Medical tests may include:
Blood tests (Hb, TLC, DLC, Platelets)
Urine test (RE/ME)
Blood Sugar (Fasting & Post-Prandial)
Serum Cholesterol

5. Appeal Medical Board (AMB)
Candidates declared medically unfit can apply for an Appeal Medical Board by depositing ₹40 through e-MRO/MRO within three working days of the medical examination.
Important Notes
Candidates must stay at the examination location for the entire selection process at their own expense.
Removing dental tartar and ear wax before medical examination is advised.
Passing the medical examination does not guarantee final selection in the Indian Air Force.
