- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institution.
- Must qualify Punjabi Stenography Test at the speed prescribed by the Government.
- Must have 120 hours Computer Course with hands-on experience in:

Salary/ Stipend

SELECTION PROCESS
1. Punjabi Language Test (Qualifying)
- Candidates must appear for a Punjabi language test at Matric level
- The test will be objective type (MCQs)
- A minimum of 50% marks is mandatory to qualify
- This test is qualifying in nature only (marks will not be counted in final merit)
- Candidates who fail to qualify will not be considered for further stages
2. Punjabi Stenography Skill Test
- Candidates who qualify the Punjabi test will appear for the stenography skill test
- Speed Requirement: 80 words per minute (WPM)
- Dictation: 400 words (two passages of 200 words each)
- Transcription Speed: 15 WPM
- Error Allowance: Maximum 8% mistakes allowed
Final merit will be prepared based on performance in this test (least mistakes rank higher)
3. Document Verification (Counselling)
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification
- Candidates must present all required documents such as:
- Educational certificates
- Category certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Valid ID proof
- If any document is found incorrect or missing, the candidature will be cancelled
Final Selection:
- Final selection will be based on Stenography Skill Test merit
- The Punjabi language test is only qualifying in nature.
