- Candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th class) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Must possess ITI in Electrician Trade OR ITI in Wireman Trade from a recognized institute.
- ITI certificate should be issued by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) or SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training).
- Candidates must have passed Punjabi subject at least at Matriculation level or its equivalent.
- Applicants appearing in ITI can apply, but they must complete the qualification before the last date of application.
- Candidates must produce original certificates at the time of document verification.
Salary/ Stipend
PSPCL ALM Online Form 2026 - SELECTION PROCESS
Selection will be based on Computer Based Online Test followed by Document Checking.
The online test will consist of two parts – Part-I and Part-II.
Part-I (Punjabi Language Test – Qualifying)
- 50 objective type questions
- Minimum 50% marks (25 marks) required to qualify
- Candidates failing in Part-I will not be considered for merit
- Marks of Part-I will not be counted in final merit
Part-II (Main Exam)
- Technical Questions (Concerned discipline) – 50 questions
- Punjabi Language – 20 questions
- General Knowledge – 10 questions
- Reasoning – 10 questions
- Arithmetic – 10 questions
- Total Questions: 100
- Each question carries 1 mark
- No negative marking
- Exam Duration: 3 hours
Minimum Qualifying Marks (Part-II)
- General Category: 25%
- Reserved Category: 20%
Merit List
- Merit will be prepared only on Part-II marks
- If exam held in multiple shifts, normalization will be applied
- Tie-breaking: Higher age candidate placed higher in merit

- Click on Recruitment tab on homepage
- Open Recruitment for the post of Assistant Lineman against CRA 315/26 link
Step 2: New Registration
- Click on New Registration (first time users)
- Enter details like Post Applied, Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mobile Number and Email ID
- Verify OTP received on registered mobile number and email ID
- After verification, proceed to fill complete application form
Step 3: Fill Application Form
- Enter personal, educational and category details carefully
- Upload scanned photograph (20kb–50kb) and signature (10kb–20kb) in JPG/JPEG format
- Use Save Draft to edit form later if required
- Click Save and Preview to review filled application form
- Accept Terms & Conditions and Self-Declaration
- Click Submit to complete Step-I registration
Step 4: Pay Application Fee
- After submitting application, click on Pay Fee option
- Pay application fee through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking
- After successful payment, save transaction number
- Take printout of payment receipt for future reference
Step 5: Final Submit & Print Form
- Login again using Registered Candidate option
- Check fee status — it should show Paid
- Click on Print Application Form
- Download and print final application form
- Keep printout and payment receipt safe for future use
