Important Points – Sports Quota (Outstanding Sportsperson)
Sports quota is provided under Horizontal Reservation and is applicable across all categories (General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS).
Only outstanding sportspersons recognized by the Rajasthan Government / competent authority are eligible for this reservation.
Candidates must upload and produce valid sports achievement certificates during document verification.
Sports quota candidates will be selected on the basis of merit along with fulfillment of sports eligibility criteria.
Reservation under sports quota does not reduce general category seats, as it is adjusted horizontally.
If a suitable sports candidate is not available, the post will be filled as per the normal category rules.
The final decision regarding sports eligibility and certificate verification will be taken by the RSSB / appointing authority.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Educational Qualification
Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized Board,
ORAny equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
Computer Qualification (Any One Required)
Candidate must possess one of the following computer qualifications:
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) Certificate under NCVT / SCVT
ORDegree / Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science / Computer Application from a recognized institution
ORSenior Secondary with Computer Science / Computer Application as a subject
ORDiploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic
ORRajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) by VMOU Kota
ORAny equivalent or higher computer qualification recognized by the Government
Language Requirement
Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script
Knowledge of Rajasthan culture

RSSB Clerk & Junior Assistant Selection Process 2026
Written Examination (OMR Based) will be conducted in offline mode for all eligible candidates.
Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks fixed by RSSB to move to the next stage.
SC/ST candidates will get 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks.
A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV).
Candidates must produce original educational, category, sports quota and PwD certificates at DV stage.
Final selection will be done on Merit Cum Priority basis as per RSSB rules.
The final appointment letter will be issued after successful verification of documents.
